I like the BFG ATs. Been driving on them for years. I have 41K on mine now and looks like I could get another 20 to 30k. The other FJ in the family went to KM2. He loves them, not to much noise but is worried about wear down.

Layout looks good. I plan to be in SLO by noon. Lunch with the peep. On the beach by 2:30 on Thursday. Head for the south entrance then Pole 6plus 75 yards south? 7-31 or CB 31
I will likely wait for someone to plant an EZ-Up as the key for the V...

I never got a hold of anyone on Maui, apparently Oahu is the island with some FJs. Lot's of Jeeps to rent, I don't know about renting FJs, didn't look in to it. I did not see any modded FJs, just surf boards on the rack and out the back window. All I know is there are sections of road in the North and South of Maui that the map I had said 4x4 only.
