Rear Bumper Build

So what I thought would take a couple weeks ended up taking longer, but it's been well worth the wait. The bumper isn't 100% done, still needs to go to powder coating, smooth out some edges, and rear sensors put back in place, but I'll be picking it up next weekend.

The rear crossmember was hacked off for a high clearance bumper set up. It's got two swingouts, high lift mount, integrated hitch, and sick rear quarter panel protection. The owner of 4x4labs (4x4labs.com), Luke, super cool dude will be at SnT if you guys have questions about the bumper. He's planning on making these, but they will not be your typical bolt in bumpers. Some cutting and minor welding required. He's also planning on doing a front bumper and sliders. Consequently, when that time comes, the DO bumper will be up for sale. He drove my FJ around a bit, and I think he may be getting one, lol. Anyway, a few teaser pics...

Much better with the new angle. now it looks like the tire belongs on the truck. Best rear mod ever.
